I just wanted to get something out there, after that shitstorm of butthurt comments. I've never made anyone a single promise about what I stand for, other than what I say out loud for everyone to hear. I'm not about to compromise my beliefs because of other worlds' time lines and hurt opinions.

So maybe I wish I get to live a long and happy life with my Lily, but that's not bloody well going to happen, is it? Others of you get that and I'm really happy for you. Just don't think that I'll be so fucking ready to apologise for everything that I say or write, because James Potter isn't made that way, and I wish I could be alive in my future to make sure that my son gets raised to never back down. Looks like he still does a bloody marvellous job of it, for which I'll always be proud. That's what Potters are made of. We don't ever back down from ourselves.
